How to divide the CNC machining process?
The division of CNC machining processes can generally be carried out according to the following methods:
(1) Divide the CNC machining process according to the tool used, and use the same tool to finish all the parts that can be completed on the part. Use the second knife and the third to complete other parts that they can complete. This reduces the number of tool changes, compresses the lost motion time, and reduces unnecessary positioning errors.
(2) The structural characteristics of different types of parts can be divided into several parts for CNC machining, such as internal shape, shape, curved surface or plane. Generally, the plane and the positioning surface are processed first, and then the hole is processed; the simple geometry is processed first, and then the complex geometry is processed; the part with lower precision is processed first, and the part with higher precision is processed.
(4) For parts that are prone to machining deformation, due to the deformation that may occur after roughing and need to be corrected, they must be CNC processed separately to separate the processes.
